Objective: To address malnutrition, shelter and education needs of children in families displaced by floods and torrential rains in Muhuta (Rumonge)
We support:
- 144 IDP households supported with unconditional multipurpose cash aid and partial NFI kits
- 481 IDP children at risk of dropping out of school supported with partial education kits

Hembura Project
Timeline: 2020 – 2024
Objective: to reintegrate IDPs affected by natural disasters with shelter support, NFI kits and micro loans
We supported:
- 250 IDPs households contribute towards climate action through climate smart agriculture projects
- 1,250 children supported through ECD
- 1 solar water pump and 2 tanks (10,000 liters) installed at the Gihanga Returnees Transit Site
- 607 IDP households access NFI kits
- 872 IDP households access cash for shelter
- 723 IDP households food aid, shelter and micro loans for business

Objective: to create assets and livelihood opportunities for IDPs affected by climate change and socio-economic shocks
We supported:
- 3,915 formerly unemployed IDP households access cash for work opportunities, seeds and farming tools to install kitchen gardens
- 52 community infrastructures were rehabilitated

Empowered to Protect Project
Timeline: 2021 – 2022
Objective: to prevent sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) with innovative nonviolent tools and community structures
We supported:
- 150 women and 80 men at risk trained on SGBV prevention mechanisms
- 230 refugee households supported with invi bracelets (nonviolent SGBV prevention bracelets)
- 1 network of 30 keystakeholders in the protection sector strengthened in capacity to respond to SGBV

Returnees Reintegration Project

Objective: to reintegrate returnees through solidarity groups and cash for work rehabilitating community infrastructures
We supported:
- 24 community infrastructures (re)constructed
- 2,599 formerly unemployed returnees, IDPs and vulnerable HCMs accessed cash for work opportunities
- 1,700 formerly unemployed returnees, IDPs and vulnerable HCMs accessed TVET, admin and business skills trainings and start up kits

Burundi Building Bridges Project

Objective: to address root causes of illegal migration, instability and organized crimes
We supported:
• 18,438 adults and young people joined in community structures to address root causes of conflicts
• 894 SHG and 99 CLA supported
• 1936 youths have successfully finished AVET/TVET
• 84% of beneficiaries reported a reduction of socio-economic
• 154 psychosocial assistants
• 216 LCGG
• 130 mediators and 130 paralegals
• 38 transitional justice focal points
• 300 local actors for community reconciliation
