What we do

Help a Child has been operating in Burundi since 2013 addressing the wellbeing of children as an expert in Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Social Protection and Emergencies working closely with the Ministry of health and the fight against AIDS, the Ministry of education and scientific research, the Ministry of interior affairs, community development and public security, the Ministry of justice, human rights and gender, the ministry of public service, labor and social security, Private Dutch Donors, the Kingdom of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dutch Relief Alliance, the United Nations Children’s Education Fund (UNICEF), the World Food Programme (WFP), the United High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Office of Migration (IOM) and the European Union to provide a safe environment and a promising future for children in need, their families and entire community.
