Health WASH Nutrition

The poor health status of children in North and South Kivu is strongly connected to the lack of access to clean and safe drinking water. From the start of Help a Child’s action in DRC, we have been involved in WASH activities. At the same time, Help a Child aims to improve the natural immune system of children through improved nutrition. Help a Child:

• Builds and rehabilitates latrines and water points in schools and public places;
• Raises awareness on hygiene and safe water use;
