Joint Response of the Dutch Relief Alliance

Together with our partners we’re responding to the humanitarian needs of communities affected by protracted crises (internally displaced persons, returnees and vulnerable host families). We do this by providing seeds and agricultural tools, direct cash to households and by working with households to reduce their vulnerability through technical training on good agricultural practices and their support in the implementation of Self-Help Groups in order to strengthen their self-learning skills in the Masisi and Fizi health zones. At the level of primary schools and the community, it provides a response in Water, Hygiene and Sanitation.
