Rapid response M23 crisis

Help a Child provides emergency assistance to communities who are displaced during the M23 crisis. We focus on the WASH sector in the Kanyaruchinya camp (Nyiragongo health zone) and help to increase the number of displaced children and their families with access to WASH services and adequate hygiene practices. We do this by supplying water by truck, sensitizing about hygiene to prevent cholera, ebola and covid, we distribute wash kits, and we construct latrines and washrooms.
