Unity over political preference

In Giharo and Mpinga-Kayove (Rutana), (young) community members who participated in the dialogue sessions, organized by BBB, decided not to display the badges of their respective political parties during (savings and credit) meetings and other activities of public interest, as they realized this created tension.

Before BBB, local authorities often had a problem with the youth in their communities, but after the programme, the hill authorities did not hesitate to involve the members of the Youth Self Help Groups in local meetings to talk about the values of ubuntu to the members of the community.
