Youth & Work

According to the Institute of Economic Affairs, a large part of the unemployed in Kenya is under the age of 30, making Kenya’s unemployment problem a youth problem. In the communities we work, we make sure that youth are self-reliant and ready for work. Our key activities:

  • TVET & AVET skills training for out-of-school youth.
  • Youth group formation, capacity building and linkages to micro-finance institutes and markets.
  • Capacity building on alternative sources of income besides formal employment.
  • Inclusion of youth with a disability within our program.
