Objective: to reduce poverty through an empowered community that safeguards and sustains the wellbeing of children.

A warm home, a bright future
Timeline: October 2024 – September 2025
Objective: The goal of this programme to ensure that children in Upper Zilakoma are well cared for and reach their developmental milestones. It aims to improve parenting skills, train caregivers in early childhood development (ECD), and enhance the environment of Community-Based Childcare Centres (CBCCs). This combined approach, has been designed to ensure the improvement of early learning and stimulation environment for children. Thus improving their numeracy and literacy foundation skills. Additionally, the project is designed to enhance quality and sustainability of the project as its activities foster increased community ownership and sustainability.
Zone of intervention: Nkhata Bay district, in the Traditional Authority (TA) of Zilakoma, focusing on the upper Zilakoma area.
