Since 1968, Help a Child India has enabled hundreds of thousands of deprived children and their families to gain resilience and to realize their dreams. Help a Child India is an independent sister organization of Help a Child,  governed and managed by a passionate team with multi-disciplinary expertise. Its activities are spread across the country, making a difference in the lives of children in need, irrespective of their background, caste, creed, gender and religion. Many of the children sponsored and supported by Help a Child India, are playing responsible roles in the society of India and in the global arena.
Help a Child India works to improve child well-being through diverse initiatives, strategically aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals. The key strategic focus areas are:
